Mmmm, Cookies...

Ginger and I wanted to go out to eat at some sit down restaurant after church today. We were thinking Red Robin, but when we mentioned the idea to the kids they both vetoed Red Robin and insisted we had to Wendy's. Neither Ginger nor myself particularly wanted to go to, but the kids were rather insistent so we gave in. To make matters worse, they then insisted we had to eat there instead of just taking it home, so Ginger and I were stuck having to eat there. Both kids ate almost all their lunch, which I don't know for sure they would have done had we gone to Red Robin, so I guess there was some good that came from it.


We didn't do a lot today. No planned outings or anything. Just stayed at home and played with the kids. Catherine helped Ginger bake some chocolate chip cookies after she got up from her nap (I should add that the cookies turned out to be quite delicious).


Quinn on the other hand was just a bundle of nonstop energy running around the house pretending he was a pit crew for a NASCAR race. We had the race from last night on for him in the background for a while, but never got all the way through it (partly because we had to keep backing it up to rewatch all the wrecks, of which there seemed to be a larger number of than normal).
