Fun In The Surf

Quinn and Catherine Do Some Wave Walking

So a bit of background on the video. This video is another one that Ginger put together. I extracted all the relevant clips and had them all lined up serially according to time. It was clocking in at almost 6 minutes though. So Ginger shortened it considerably (it's around two and a half minutes now). She also interlaced the events. I think her goal was to show the difference in how the two kids approach walking in the waves by juxtapositioning them. So the movie is now as she put it together, except for one part. I extended the Catherine scene at about a minute and a half. You'll be able to tell, because it will start to get a bit boring (okay, more boring), but check out what's occurring in the background with Quinn and Nana. I thought that made it worth extending the scene a bit. Consider this the Director Director's Cut.

Got some more pictures of the hydrangeas today. Got some while it was raining this morning plus one this afternoon when they had dried out. Threw in another moonshot for grins since it was pretty clear tonight and there were no clouds. I tried getting some star pictures, but I left the lens open too long. Apparently 5 seconds open and you can notice the Earth's rotation in the picture (either that or the tripod was slowly dipping during every shot I took). I may try another star shot tomorrow with less exposure time.

So with Ginger and the kids in Richmond, you just know something special must be coming here soon. Here's a little foreshadowing (and the backstory for those that don't get it).

The video was pretty good, actually. Your work is getting better and less boring. ;-)

And that brick sure does get around.

All props for the movie should go to Ginger since everyone would have been bored to tears by what I had before.
