Richmond Adventures: Tummy Aches

Ginger reports in once again live from the front lines in Richmond.

It seems the kids new mantra is "I can't, I may get a tummy ache." You see on Sunday morning James was concerned that Catherine would eat too many donuts, so he told her she would get a tummy ache if she ate all of them. * Since then, everything might give the kids a tummy ache (with the exception of ice cream.)

We went to the train mall today and rode the train. The kids had a great time yelling to their uncle and waving at everyone in the mall during their train ride. They also managed to squeeze in a trip to the toy store. **

James will want me to report that we did eat lunch out, but dinner was at home this evening. With the entire meal made at home tonight (it seems he MUST report when a meal is only semi-homemade!) ***

The kids also have a new game that they like - croquet. While Quinn has his own form, Catherine is using the correct one and doing quite well at the game.

That is it from the front!

* In my defense it was a bag full of glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut holes and Catherine wolfed down about half the bag in 5 minutes and was showing no signs of slowing down.

** Notice no mention of whether we bought anything, that means we did. Because that's what we need. More toys.

*** I'm simply doing pattern matching.
