Richmond Adventures: Doctor Visit

This update brought to by Ginger on location in Richmond.

Today was a day of going from doctor's office to doctor's office. We started off taking Grandmaw to the doctor near the hospital where Mommy was born. Catherine was convinced this meant Grandmaw had a baby in her belly! *

After we saw the hospital we went to lunch at a "sit down restaurant". Not surprisingly, Quinn was thrilled, and Catherine was upset we could not go to Old McDonald's. After she calmed down, Catherine decided rice was her dish of choice for lunch. Of course, once she had the rice she decided it was not what she wanted at all, and she settled in on pizza. **

Once the kids finished their first taste of gelatto, we ran from fountain to fountain at the mall. Then it was off to the dentist office. Grandmaw had broken a tooth over the weekend and needed a repair!

That is about all there is to report from Grammy's house. Except, we ARE staying in for dinner this evening. ***

* Grandmaw is Ginger's grandmother, she's like 127 years old. ****

** So does this mean lunch cost twice as much as it should have for Catherine?

*** I found out that while they ate in, most of the food bought preprepared (except for the coleslaw and the muffins)

**** Octal base

Thank God there's an octal conversion in Windows' Calc. I didn't want to have to do 1*8^2+2*8^1+7*8^0 by hand, though now that I write it out, it isn't really that hard, I guess.
