Invariably it will happen every week. At some point during CSI there's a picture or something taken from some surveillance camera. And they have this picture / image on the computer. And in the picture there's usually someone holding something. And one of the people (usually one of the credited cast members talking to a recurring character running the image program who must not be important enough to have their name in the credits) says "Zoom in." So the guy running the program zooms in, and the thing they're looking at is 1 or 2 pixels. And then the guy giving orders will say "Can you enhance that?" And the person running the program says "Sure" or "Let me see." and suddenly two pixels in a matter of like 3 seconds turn into a detailed 5 meg 3000x2000 pixel image that's like a bar code image or something where they can read everything. Right, like we have the tech to turn 2 pixels into that detailed of an image. Don't even get me started on the "Can you enhance that?" question. This guy running the image program does the same dang thing every week. At some point you would think he wouldn't need someone asking him to zoom in or enhance the photo and he would just do beforehand. Especially since it apparently only takes like 3 seconds to do. And yet, every week he just sits there and waits for someone to tell him what to do. He's such a tool! The guy apparently doesn't have an independent bone in his body. And for some reason, every week I'm watching it.

I think this is like the good ole Star Trek days when someone would have to ASK for shields..."oh sure, I can do that, good thing you asked". I've never seen CSI, but I can imagine the same dialog.
