Playing At The Park (And Tennis!)

It's Saturday, so that means today was Quinn's tennis lesson. Before we went though we all went to Red Robin and met Ken, Karen and Amanda for lunch. We didn't really have enough time to do that since Quinn and I had to leave before Quinn had completely finished his lunch to get to the tennis lesson on time.

I'm not sure how much Quinn is actually learning at the lessons. He seems to be unable to listen to what the teacher says and do it. Instead he just keeps doing it however he wants to do it. I have the same problem with him when I'm trying to teach him something. He doesn't want to learn so much as he wants to do the activity, and he doesn't seem to have the inclination to take the time to learn how to do the activity correctly, he would rather do it the way he wants, even if that's wrong.

After the lesson Quinn and I went by Lowe's in my continuing quest to repair the weather strip on the side door of the house. And today was once again a bust. We even got one of the guys in the hardware department to help us and he couldn't find anything that matched what was on the door previously either. He suggested Home Depot, and we explained we had been there. Then he suggested Sears, and we said we had been there. And then he said we should call the door's manufacturer. Guess we'll be trying that next. Although we haven't gone to a store specifically for doors yet. Maybe that will be the next move.

After that we met up with everyone at a local park for some fun and games. Lots of pictures coming up.
