"I'm Going To Push, Then Let Go"

Ginger wasn't feeling especially well today, so while she rested I played with the kids. It was tough trying to keep both happy since they always have different interests and things they want to do. Without Ginger being available I just didn't have the option of letting them do different things (like Catherine wanted to play downstairs in the basement and Quinn wanted to play outside). We did both, but I think we ended up playing outside more than in the basement. One activity outside was "try and kill your sibling". They took turns sitting in an old stroller and then pushing it down the driveway and letting go halfway down. The person in the stroller then became a projectile towards a wall, car or other inanimate object.

Bike riding turned out to be a recurring activity while outside. They would ride for ten to fifteen minutes. Stop, do something else, then go back to riding and repeat the process. I wanted to try and get Quinn to try riding his bike sans training wheels, but he just doesn't want to do it at this point so he's resisting (kind of like with new foods, but not quite that bad).

And of course Quinn convinced Catherine she wanted to play baseball. Right up until she was unable to hit the ball where things went bad briefly until we got a tee out for her.
