Since we didn't really get any good shots yesterday of the baby chicks, I went into the school today when I dropped off the kids to see them and snag a photo or two. The good news is nine out of the ten hatched (they were worried yesterday that if they didn't hatch soon it was going to be bad news. They've divided the chicks up into two of the three classes within the school. There are four in Quinn's class and five are in Catherine's class. Not sure how they decided on that or why the other class didn't get any (seems like 3-3-3 would have been a good division).

And once again blogging proves educational for me. I had to go look up why in the world the word "butchers" was being used for look. But now I know (I had no idea that's how the term "bread" representing "money" originated). Anyway, what follows is Quinn's photo blog entry. You can see pictures from the start of the day, the trip to school, and finally one shot of the chicks he took today while at school. I took the liberty of excluding a lot of pictures that weren't in focus or redundant.
