Getting Fit

Another slow Sunday since Ginger wasn't feeling well for most of the day. The big excitement (if you could really call it that) for the day was when Quinn and I rode our bikes over to a local school and he played on the playground there for a bit. And I have to admit, the boy impressed me. He's actually able to do monkey bars on his own now. In the past he's never displayed the necessary upper body strength (or wherewithal) to go from bar to bar. He would always lose it at that point where he had to be holding on with only one hand when going to the next bar. But now he's apparently passed that milestone and is able to do it now. I'm guessing we have the gymnastic lessons to thank for that, and that's money well spent as far as I'm concerned. As for the picture below, Quinn insisted I take that one and wanted it posted. And you may be wondering what did Catherine to get some exercise today, she did multiple sessions on the Wii Fit jogging. My guess is if you had a treadmill that in combination with the Wii Fit jogging would provide a nice virtual simulation of a run. The long distance jogging is about ten minutes. And while it looks like you only have one path to take, they've actually programmed in multiple paths around an island that you can follow (at certain points you have to pass the trainer and then you'll take a different path).
