Anonymous: I just don't get this Facebook thing. Just the other day I had someone send me an email asking to be my friend. Who does that? Whoever heard of someone asking to be your friend? Shouldn't they already know if they're your friend? And why do you have to send an email?
So while we were visiting in Richmond we took a trip downtown to see the light setup they have down there. The lights around the buildings in the city are pretty impressive when you stop to think about the effort it probably took to put those up.
They have more of those light reindeer in the square than we could begin to count. It was also so crowded there was nowhere to park, so we just rode around to looked a couple times (hence the photos being pretty fuzzy and lacking a bit of composure).
The huge tree is the highlight, but we could only see it as we drove around it several times.

Happy New Year. I love the light displays downtown. The lights on the grounds of Lewis Ginter are also really impressive to walk around. Maybe next year.
