Later on Christmas day Nana arrived. This meant a new round of opening presents, but before that we had to have our big holiday lunch / dinner which somehow had me outside grilling chicken (luckily it wasn't that cold this time). After the meal we had dessert which was a birthday cake for Jesus with more whip cream than should legally be allowed on a dessert. But man was it tasty, especially with the fresh fruit of strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.

After that it was on to the presents. Quinn was ecstatic because he got tons of Batman Lego items. After a while when Quinn was opening his presents he started hamming it up and over acting by falling on the floor and pretending to faint from excitement. At this point I thought about calling him Shatner, but I figured he wouldn't get the reference. Catherine on the other hand got more Calico Critter toys than I knew existed. Good thing the grandparents don't spoil the children.

As for Nana's present she managed to score a book put together by Ginger with all the best kid pictures from the past year.
