I had the day off today for the July 4th holiday. And it turns out we did nothing and simply stayed in and played video games all day. So was it was wasted day, or the perfect day? We did do the grilling out thing which is when I took the above picture. These days I can really see all the dirt that's on the CCD in pictures I take and it bugs me to no end. And yet I'm too chicken to actually try and clean the CCD myself. In theory I could be using a reference photo and by combining the photos it would take care of some of that, but to do that would require using the imaging processing software that came with the camera (which really is subpar to just about everything else available).
