Snow? Yes, but No.

Well, the weather was suppose to be really bad today. It started snowing this morning, and the roads were apparently a little slick around noon when Ginger picked up Quinn from school. So it looked like we were actually going to get some accumulation there for a bit, but then sometime around 1 or 2 in the afternoon the snow turned to rain. Temperature throughout the day was around 35, so we've had nothing but rain since then. In fact, it's still raining now. Not sure how cold it's suppose to get tonight, so tomorrow morning traffic may be nasty.

When I got home tonight, I helped the kids turn our couch into a fort. They played around in that for a good while. It's kind of like cat toys. You can buy all this expensive stuff, but what do cats like to play with? The plastic rings from milk containers. I get the feeling kids are the same way, the free activities to them are sometimes more fun than stuff you can buy.
