I was planning on only working part of Monday and then spending the rest of it at home with the family since the kids didn't have school due to it being Columbus Day. But then Ginger ended up not feeling all that well so I ended up spending the whole day at home helping with the kids. And for some reason I couldn't convince the kids to go outside at all and they spent the whole day "playing inside" (translation: destroying one room after another). Having the three day weekend made it much more difficult to go back to work on Tuesday.
