Guess We're Lucky We Didn't Get It

Quinn seemed to be taking a downward turn this weekend. For a while there it looked like he might be getting better, but then things just went south. So today Ginger took him to the doctor to find out what the cause of the problems might be. Turns out last week he didn't have the flu, but instead had strep. And having the strep caused his weakened immune system to pick up impetigo. So he'll be on medicine now for a week or so for that. The doctor said he wouldn't be contagious after taking the medicine for 24 hours, so he'll be missing school again for at least tomorrow. Catherine seems to be better though so we're planning on her returning to school tomorrow.
