Finished De Blob

Low key day as we stayed home, napped, and finished De Blob. My final analysis of De Blob is the game is entertaining and and easy to understand concept. It's not exceedingly difficult, but can be challenging. It's simple enough for kids to be able to play without needing a lot of explanation about what to do (the concept of apply paint to everything that isn't painted is fairly simple). There's very little in the way of violence, and there's enough things that need to be done on each level to keep OCD types playing. The only downside to the game that I've seen (and this is a fairly large downside I believe) is that you can't really just pick up the game and play the story mode for a short amount of time. The multiplayer games allow for quick games, but if you want to do the story mode prepare to invest about an hour or more per level. And there's no way to save progress within a level, so you're in for the long haul, or you're turning it off and losing a ton of progress.
