International Day

It was international day at the kid's school. The elementary class divided up into teams and each team took a continent. In addition there was some entertainment as well. I wasn't able to attend the event, but Ginger was there and snapped some pictures.

Quinn was at the Europe station. Mostly because Europe was one of the few continents that he could actually locate on a map.

Catherine got a chance to try her hand at writing in Chinese. You can see the result below.

Nana was also up this weekend and since she wasn't around to celebrate any of the birthday celebrations we had for Quinn we had to have yet another birthday party. This was also suppose to be celebrating Nana's birthday since we had missed being able to attend her party. As these things typically go though it ended up being more about Quinn's birthday than it was about her's. Once again I didn't end up getting home in time for the celebrations, but that seems to be a recurring theme these days.
